Solar instrument concert by Chromatic Field
Chromatic Field is a group of musicians from Berlin experimenting with building and using solar powered sound instruments for sound performances. The solar powered sound modules built by the local participants of Cluj in a two day workshop were used by Chromatic Field in a concert that used flash lights and other light sources to generate a mixture of industrial sounds.

Organized by Joanne Richardson of D Media and Razvan Martin of the Media Monitoring Agency. Two screenings (at Club A and WebClub in Bucharest) of works by international filmmakers who question the meaning of propaganda and the cult of violence in conventional television.

Organized by Protokoll Studio, Cluj in collaboration with Nita Mocanu. Presentation of the raw footage from “Behind the Scene.” a video archive about contemporary art and artists in Romania. All the participants were invited to a garden party at Protokoll Studio, which included ta marathon screening and sound performances by: Megatron, Dyslex, Alergische Platze, Szilard Miklos.

Sound performance by: Youji Inoue aka DILL (Tokyo, electronica/glitch), Takuro Mizuta Lippit aka Sniff (NY, abstract hip hop/turntablims), Yutaka Makino (Amsterdam, noise/experimental). The event is part of a larger European tour of the musicians.

Presentation by Liviu Pop of D Media and Bori Kovacs of Indymedia Romania of videos about the political economy of war and the role of the "democratic" mass media. Organized at Tranzit House, Cluj, in protest of Romania's decision to officially adopt a politics of "preemptive war" in Iraq.

Clips from films in the Other Cinema collection (Craig Baldwin, Negativeland), and experimental sounds.
