Final presentation of the Real Fictions project by all D Media members and teenage volunteers who participated in the production of the 4 videos. The screening was part of a week-long event organized by Tranzit House that featured the projects of their partners and collaborators.

Screening of Paint Romanian at the 10th Istanbul Biennale
Joanne Richardson's video "Paint Romanian" was included in "Nightcomers," a video program of the 10th Istanbul Biennale. [ Nightcomers ] was inspired by the 'Dazibao' of the Chinese Cultural Revolution, in which the lower classes made public critiques of elites on the streets.

A screening of "Made in Italy" and follow up discussion with Joanne Richardson and Francesca Bria. The screening was part of the "Cleotronica Festival for Media, Art, and Socio-Culture" organized by the [ Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum ].

D Media retrospective at Hack.Fem.East exhibition, Berlin
A D Media retrospective that included a compilation of videos and documentation of events and other projects was featured in the exhibition [ Hack.Fem. East ] at Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien. The installation included a DVD station for burning copies of D Media videos.

Screening of Made in Italy and Eden at 3rd Bucharest Biennale, Bucharest
The two videos that were part of the collaborative project by Candida TV and D Media, "Made in Italy" and "Eden" were screened at the Third Bucharest Biennale, as part of one of the parallel events of the biennial, [ Are you talking to me ], organized by h.arta group and Marina Grzinic.

Inclusion of In Transit in Salon of Revolution exhibition at HDLU, Zagreb
Joanne Richardson's video "In Transit" was included in the group exhibition [ Salon of Revolution ] curated by Ivana Bago and Antonia Majaca at HDLU (Croatian Artists' House) in Zagreb. The exhibition program also included an artists' talk by Joanne Richardson on October 19.

Screening of Made in Italy and Precarious Lives at Globale Festival, Berlin
Two videos by D Media as well as a short video by Ak Kraak were included in a special program on Precarity at [ Globale 08 Festival ] in Berlin. The program also included a discussion with the two groups and with labour activists and campaigns from Germany.

Inclusion of In Transit in Where to go exhibition at Rotor, Graz
Joanne Richardson's video "In Transit" was included in the exhibition "Where to go: Notes on Transformation after 1989" organized by [ Rotor Association for Contemporary Art ] in Austria. The exhibition was part of Galery Days: Contemporary Art in Graz with over 20 participating galleries.
