D Media

D Media is a nongovernmental organization promoting participatory technologies and the fusion between art and social activism.

Objectives and Activities:

• + producing digital media (video, radio, publications) on subjects like media, youth culture, anti- discrimination, globalization, etc.

• + spreading a do it yourself media ethic through disseminating information, organizing conferences, production workshop, screenings and exhibitions

• + encouraging the implication of local people, especially youth, in media by providing production training and public access in the form of a media lab

• + helping other nongovernmental organizations with developing a media identity and information campaigns

• + collaborating with other DIY media labs and initiatives, especially in EE
