This is my first video.
In the video I’m responding to a series of question with ‘yes’ or ‘no’. I’m not allowed to say anything else. It is a play of self-destruction. The questions are sometimes serious, sometimes absurd, and sometimes caring. In a stressful situation you can no longer understand the questions as they appear, you will always seek a hidden meaning behind the words. I new about the Securitate’s (communist secret service in Romania) way of destroying any will or personality during an examination. I felt like that somehow, but in the circumstances of my life, being a woman.
